TIE 2

The VoiceThread was definitely a learning experience for me. Alyssa and I both taught lessons on living and nonliving things so we worked together and created a voicethread with both of our 1st grade classes. We had the students compare and contrast living and nonliving pictures, circle living or nonling things from a picture provided ,and discuss the posters they created. Throughout our voicethread you will see the students doodle, give verbal responses, or type responses.

What worked well:
I found that VoiceThread is really not that hard to work with. We did not have a difficult time uploading any of our pictures. We had a easy time recording our voices as well as the students voices. I think the best part for the students was using the doodling tool. Overall we had a good experience creating our VoiceThread.

What would I do differently:
I wouldn't say I would do anything differently but I do wish we had more time to work with it and see what else VoiceThread has to offer.

Some questions I have:
How can I use this more often?
Would it be to difficult to have the students create one on their own?

  1. I am glad we shared the VoiceThread experience. It was fun having both of our classes comment back and forth about what they learned from the lesson.

  2. Good VoiceThread overall. I liked the screen where one of your students asked the other students to interact with what she had posted. More collaborative interaction is what is desired.
